The Nike Air VaporMax Plus Olympic draws inspiration from the 2000 Olympic Games, combining modern technologies in the design. The hybrid silhouette features a blend of colorways that break up the burgundy navy motifs.

The Olympic sneakers feature a synthetic upper with burgundy navy coloration and a wavy TPU cage in a matching hue that adds a pearlescent effect. The metallic gold color is limited to the Swoosh on the lateral sides and the midsole, which signifies the break in the full-length VaporMax sole unit. The sole unit takes on a red translucent rubberized construction with pods for extra traction and a reflective toe box panel for a wholesome aesthetic.
